STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Buena Vista Rainbow Six squad had a couple of tough matches in NECC Activation Week 2 contests. The Beavers fell in their first match against Lees-McRae 7-4 before falling in the final contest 7-1 against Murray State University. 

During the first game the Beavers battled hard but a couple of late rounds went to Lees-McRae as the squad would fall 7-4. In the second map against Murray State Blue the Beavers battle hard but were unable to come away with a victory. In the round Luke Hatchitt led the way with eight kills as Nathan Reusch followed with three kills. 

Next up for the Beavers will be regular season action in NECC play on September 22nd. Tonight September 16 the Beavers will take on Coe College in a scrimmage for League of Legends from 8-10 pm. On Friday, September 17th the League of Legends squad takes on Holy Cross at 6 pm and Concordia Nebraska at 7:15 pm in NECC Activation Week 2 competition!
