Softball Moves Record to 5-1 with Split of Games on Day Two in Florida

Keely Bycroft did it with her arm and her bat on Saturday as the Buena Vista softball team began the day with a 10-0 victory over Elmhurst before suffering its first loss of the season, a 6-0 setback against Hope in the nightcap.

Cheyanne Boland continues her solid start with two more doubles and three RBI.  Autumn Boland also doubled and drove in three.  As a team, the Beavers out-hit Elmhurst, 13-3.

BVU suffered its first loss in the nightcap against Hope.  Stats from the game not currently available.

The Beavers look to continue their strong start with two more games on Sunday.  The team opens against Buffalo St at 8:00am CST before taking on MCLA at 10:30am CST.
