Men's Cross Country Wraps up Season at NCAA Regionals

The Buena Vista men's cross country team concluded its 2017 season on Saturday at the NCAA Regional championships in Northfield, Minn., hosted by Carleton College.

Running in cold conditions, the Beavers battled the elements and finished the year on a strong note.  Freshman Cameron Kaltschnee led the way and was just off his career best time (30:15) by crossing in 30:23, just ahead of sophomore Zach Kenny at 31:00.

A total of 29 full teams took part in the event which was won by Loras College which had three top-10 finishers.  Central College's Mark Fairley was the individual champion in 24:52.9 as the Dutch took ninth as a team.
