15 Student-Athletes Named Academic All-IIAC for Spring Season

Buena Vista University had 15 student-athletes named to the All-IIAC Academic Team for the spring 2018 season as announced by the league office.

The Beaver softball team led the way with five individuals while baseball and women's track & field followed with four each.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be in sophomore academic standing with at least one full year of residency on campus while maintaining an overall cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.  Student-athletes are eligible to be named on multiple sports throughout the year.

A total of 340 student-athletes were listed among the conference's six spring championship sports.
